Fanno il loro ingresso nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers e Guns N' Roses fanno il loro ingresso nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Le tre band americane saranno cosi consacrate nell'Olimpo del rock mondiale ed i loro nomi vanno ad aggiungersi a quelli che hanno fatto la storia della musica, come Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, James Brown, Ray Charles, Led Zeppelin. La cerimonia di introduzione si svolgera' il prossimo 14 aprile a Cleveland, in Ohio, nella sede del Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Il frontman dei Red Hot Chili Peppers Anthony Kiedis ha rivelato a Rolling Stone: “Ho chiamato mio padre e ho pianto...”.
