La all-star band rinasce con Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp e la partecipazione di Paul Mc Cartney

Risorgono gli Hollywood Vampires!!! Tutto merito di Alice Cooper, che ha unito le forze con Joe Perry e Johnny Depp. La band pubblicherà l’11 settembre l’album contenente 14 brani con 2 inediti e cover di The Who, Led Zeppelin, Spirit, The Doors e tanti altri big dei ’70s. Gli Hollywood Vampires nascono originariamente nel 1972 ad opera di Alice Cooper come una sorta di club di cui facevano parte John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison e tanti altri. Il “club” risorse tre anni fa grazie all’amicizia tra Alice Cooper e Johnny Depp, a cui si unisce Joe Perry per iniziare a lavorare sull’album in uscita. “Hollywood Vampires” è stato prodotto da Bob Ezrin e vede la partecipazione di Perry Farrell, Dave Grohl, Sir Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Slash, Robbie Krieger, Zak Starkey, Brian Johnson e Kip Winger. Tra gli ospiti, anche Christopher Lee, con un intro registrato poco prima della sua scomparsa. Il packaging dell’album, un libro antico, è opera del celebre stilista (e fan del rock) John Varvatos, nel suo tipico stile vintage. Tutti i ricavi degli artisti verranno donati a MusiCares.
