Universal Music annuncia che viene ritirato il box ''Genesis 1983 - 1998'' nella versione in vinile di 180 grammi. Oggi nel primo pomeriggio sulla pagina ufficiale Facebook e' comparsa la notizia. Il ritiro perche'... ''were not pressed to the advertised weight of 180gm''. La casa discografica annuncia che ai primi di Luglio ci saranno le copie corrette. Venduto da Amazon.com a ben 150 dollari, contiene cinque vinili: uno di b side di singoli famosi, più i remaster degli album del secondo periodo Genesis, ''Invisible Touch'', ''We Can't Dance'' e ''Calling All Stations''. Questo il messaggio che compare sulla pagina ufficiale della band su Facebook: ''...Dear Genesis fans. Universal Music are sorry to inform you that owing to a manufacturing problem, the vinyl discs in the Genesis 1983-1998 box set were not pressed to the advertised weight of 180gm. The product has therefore been withdrawn from sale ahead of remanufacturing. Replacement copies are expected to be back in stores by early July. If you would like a refund, please return the box to your friendly retailer with your receipt and order a replacement. In the meantime, and by way of an apology, Universal Music are offering a free A4 ‘We Can’t Dance’ poster print.
